How can we help you?

Ordering

Yes, you can order as a consumer or business customer. As a business customer, you may enter your VAT identification number (e.g. DE123456789), if available.

Minimum order quantities are the smallest packaging units that are available for each product.

Orders can only be placed for the packaging units as specified (carton, pallet). The goods are pre-packed in these packaging units in our warehouse. Due to logistical reasons it is not possible to order other quantities than specified

We do not provide price lists or catalogues. You can find all our products in our online store. Prices and packaging units are valid as specified in our shop.

If you are not logged in the prices are displayed inclusive VAT. If you are logged in as a business customer with a valid VAT identification number or a non-EU country, the prices will be displayed exclusive VAT.

We cannot accept orders by e-mail, fax, mail or telephone for logistical and data protection reasons. We ask you to place your order directly in our online shop.

The matching closures are automatically supplied and are already included in the price. For certain closures colours can be selected freely within the packaging unit.

You can enter a deviate delivery address during the ordering process (step 2). To do this, remove the checkmark from "Use billing address as delivery address" and enter your delivery address. The delivery address will be saved in your customer account for your next order. You also have the option to store several delivery addresses in your customer account.

For domestic deliveries (Austria) we are legally obliged to charge VAT. Deliveries to business customers in other EU member states are subject to the rules for intra-community EU shipments and no VAT is charged. To enable this, enter your VAT identification number (e.g. DE123456789) during registration. If you want to add or change your VAT identification number after registration, please contact our service team.

Enter the discount code in the input field below the products in the shopping basket and click on "Redeem voucher". The discount will then be applied to your order total.

In the last step of the ordering process (step 4) you can enter your order number under "Own order number". Your order number will then be displayed on the delivery note and invoice.

Payment

Pre-payment

After completing your order, you will be redirected to the payment provider Micropayment. After you have confirmed your e-mail address there, you will receive an e-mail from Micropayment with the required data for the bank transfer together additionaly to the order confirmation.

PayPal

After completing your order, you will be redirected to PayPal. Log-in with your PayPal login details and confirm the payment.

Immediate transfer

After completing your order, you will be redirected to the payment provider Micropayment. Follow the steps indicated there to complete the payment.

Credit card

After completing the order, you will be redirected to the payment provider Micropayment. Follow the steps indicated there to complete the payment.

If you are a business customer and would like to order on account (10 days without deduction), please contact our customer service team. We will review your request and once it has been approved will activate the payment method "invoice" for you.

The invoice will be sent to the provided email-address on the day of dispatch. In your customer account you can also add a separate e-mail address for receiving invoices.

Within 10 days after receipt of the invoice without deduction. If "advance payment" is stated on your invoice, the amount has already been paid in advance and no further payment is necessary.

If the payment process fails, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Delivery

We supply all countries of the European Union as well as the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Serbia, Iceland, Turkey, Canada and the United States of America. We are happy to expand our delivery area on request.

The shipping costs are calculated per packaging unit (box/pallet) based on your delivery address. In Delivery you can find our current shipping costs.

The order can be picked up at our warehouse by yourself or a carrier commissioned by you. Therefore select "self pick-up" as shipping method during the ordering process (step 3). As soon as the goods are ready for collection, you will receive a confirmation with all details for pick-up. (address: Mühltal 1, 6305 Itter, Tyrol, Austria).

Orders are usually shipped within 1 - 4 business days (Monday - Friday, excluding weekends and holidays) after receipt of order and payment, depending on packaging unit, availability and order situation. If ordered items are out of stock, you will be informed as soon as possible.

Upon dispatch you will receive a shipping confirmation by e-mail with the link to shipment tracking.

Under Delivery you can find the standard delivery times (regular duration from collection to delivery). Please note that these are average empirical values, intended only as guidance, we do not guarantee the specified delivery times. The shipping time depends on packaging unit, delivery area (remote areas, islands), order situation as well as the duration of customs and import clearance and can therefore be extended accordingly.

In addition, an estimated delivery date is usually announced in the shipment tracking of the transport company.

You can find the link to shipment tracking in the order history of your account and in the shipment confirmation. It can take up to 24 hours before a shipment can be displayed in the shipment tracking.

If nobody is present at the time of delivery, the parcel will be delivered to the nearest parcel shop. The details for the parcel collection in the parcel shop are given in the shipment tracking.

Under certain conditions it is possible to choose between different delivery options or make delivery changes within the shipment tracking. If you would like the parcel to be dropped off at a defined location, please directly contact the shipment company to issue a signature release authorisation.

Express delivery of parcels is available on request. Therefore, please contact our customer service team.

The surcharge for express delivery depends on the delivery area and the season.
(No delivery on weekends and holidays! If express parcels are shipped on Fridays, delivery will be on Monday at the earliest.)

In countries outside the European Union we ship duty unpaid and untaxed. Please note that customs duties and import fees will accrue. Information regarding customs clearance and other import fees can be obtained from the responsible customs office.

If there are any delays or other difficulties with the delivery, please feel free to contact our service team. We will contact our transport partner as soon as possible to find a solution.

Customer account

Select Register at the login area. After completing the registration form, you will receive a registration confirmation by e-mail. You can then log in with the specified e-mail address and the password you have chosen.

Click on forgot password when logging in and enter the e-mail address registered with us. You will receive an e-mail with a link to choose a new password.

Under my account you can change your password, billing and delivery address as well as your newsletter settings. If you want to change the VAT number or the country of the billing address, please contact our customer service team.

Please contact our customer service team to change the VAT identification number (VAT ID) in your customer account.

You may subscribe to our newsletter under newsletter, during the registration and order process and in your account in the newsletter settings. You will receive an e-mail with a link to confirm your subscription.

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe under newsletter and in the newsletter settings of your account.

Yes. To do so, place the desired items in the shopping cart and click on "Next step". Here you can select "guest order". After entering your data, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. The goods will be dispatched as soon as possible after receipt of payment.

Samples

We provide a sample service for business customers. For samples outside the EU, a shipping and handling fee of € 15 exclusive VAT will be charged.

The possible number of samples depend on size and type of the items. For further sample requests, higher quantities and shipment to certain delivery areas, a individual sample fee can be charged in advance.

The samples are dispatched within 1-4 working days depending on availability and order situation.

Our sample service only applies to business customers. As a consumer, you have the right to exercise your 14-day right of withdrawal.

Products

Most of our metal packaging products are manufactured in our Pirlo factories (in Tyrol and Lower Austria). PET, glass and some other tinplate products are sourced from suppliers in Europe (mainly Germany and the Netherlands).

Please refer to the product description for its suitability. We provide a corresponding certificate for food-grade products that can be downloaded directly from the product description or requested from our service team.

Due to the different fillings on the market and their individual composition, we cannot confirm absolute suitability for respective fillings. It is the responsibility of the user/bottler of the packaging to determine and confirm the suitability for the respective filling in advance.

The actual suitability of the chosen packaging can only be properly ascertained by performing your own preliminary tests! The specified range of use for this article represent a rough classification based on the legal requirements!

Please note that most of our metal containers are made of tinplate. Cans made of tinplate are not suitable for water-containing filling goods or moist storage/handling. Contact with water or moisture lead to rust.

All of our items are standard items and can be found in our shop. Minimum purchase quantities apply to custom-made products (depending on dimensions, size, colours and type).

Our products are manufactured and packed under strict hygiene regulations, so a simple visual inspection before use is sufficient. The container can be wiped with a dry cloth if necessary.

Returns & Complaints

Please register the return within 14 days in our returns portal. We will then have the goods picked up or send you the appropriate returns label. If you return the goods by yourself, we will not be liable for the incurred return shipping costs.

We will process your returned items as quickly as possible and provide a refund through the payment method you used for your order within the next payment run.

Please contact our service team if you received wrong items. We will arrange their pick-up and ship the correct items to you immediately.

For pallet orders, please note on the delivery receipt that the goods were delivered in a damaged condition. Please report the issue to us at shop@pirlo.com along with photos and damaged quantity.
