The sustainably produced jars are made from recycled plastic waste collected near coastal areas around the world. Through this initiative around 1,000 tons of coastal plastic are collected each month and prevented from entering the oceans. In this way, damage to marine life and environment is reduced. At the same time, the system supports local collectors, strengthens regional structures and promotes the circular economy. Using recycled plastic reduces the demand for new raw materials and contributes to lower greenhouse gas emissions.

The packaging containers made of R-PET with a wide opening and an elegant metal closure provide optimal presentation for your food and cosmetic products as well as a wide range of other products. By choosing the closure colour, the RPET container can be perfectly matched to your product and label.

• PCR RPET (Post Consumer Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) Ocean Plastic jars are sustainably produced in Europe from recycled plastic waste collected worldwide near coastal areas. The included aluminium screw caps are sustainably manufactured in Austria.
• RPET packaging and aluminium screw caps are food-safe and highly recyclable when properly disposed of.
• The RPET jars are supplied with 70 mm aluminium screw caps, freely selectable from five different colours (silver, gold, black, bronze and white). After selecting the packaging unit, the closure colours can be freely chosen within the ordered quantity.
• Optionally available with an additional inner lid made of clear PET. The transparent sealing inserts with grip tab prevent the screw cap from sticking to the filling material. After selecting the packaging unit, the quantity can be freely chosen within the ordered quantity.
• The screw caps and inner lids can be easily applied by hand or machine.
• RPET packaging is resistant to cold and can be heated up to a maximum of 40 °C.
• Important material notes: Ocean Plastic containers are not crystal clear and may show a yellowish to greyish haze. Due to the recycled raw materials, colour variations may occur between different production batches as well as within a single batch. The availability of Ocean Plastic products depends on the occurrence and quality of recycled raw materials and on production capacities, which may lead to occasional shortages of raw materials.

Due to the different fillings on the market and their individual composition, we cannot confirm absolute suitability for respective fillings. It is the responsibility of the user/bottler of the packaging to determine and confirm the suitability for the respective filling in advance. The actual suitability of the chosen packaging can only be properly ascertained by performing your own preliminary tests. The specified range of use for this article represents a rough classification based on the legal requirements.
