Sharps disposal container ”SafeCan” Metal bucket with 2.5 litres filling volume - puncture-proof, stable and shatter-proof bucket made of metal, ÖNORM EN ISO 23907-1 tested, printed in signal colours, equipped with a special closure cap and carrying handle. Collection box / disposal bin / disposal container for safe, contact-free collection and disposal of cannulas, syringes, insulin syringes, blades, needles, acupuncture needles, lancets, pipettes, object slides and other sharp and pointed waste. Suitable for the use in medical, health and cosmetic facilities such as hospitals, clinics, care facilities, doctor’s offices, tattoo and piercing studios, beauty salons or at home.

WARNING: Do not fill above the filling line and do not force sharp waste into the container. Not re-useable!

• Tested according to ÖNORM EN ISO 23907-1 (sharps injury protection - single-use sharps containers)
• Single-use disposal container - not re-useable!
• The SafeCan (plastic content < 5%) is made in Austria from 100% recyclable materials. The metal bucket is made of tinplate, the sealing cap is made of plastic.
• The sharps disposal container is inside blank and outside printed in signal colours (signal yellow and signal red). Printing according to ÖNORM. Custom-made with logo printing is possible on request.
• The disposal container is supplied including a signal red lid with a built-in, yellow special closure cap made of plastic. The special closure enables a safe removal of cannulas and closing before disposal.
• The sharps disposal bin is equipped with a black plastic carrying handle.
• Dangerous goods approval UN for solid hazardous goods (test number printed on the container: UN 1A2/Y1.2/S/23/A/PA-02/9191).
• The metal bucket disposal container can be nested and stacked due to its conical shape.
• Not suitable for food.
• This container is made of tinplate (tinned sheet steel). Containers made of tinplate are not suitable for water-containing filling goods or moist storage/handling. Contact with water or moisture lead to rust.

It is the responsibility of the user/bottler of the packaging to determine and confirm the suitability for the respective filling in advance. The actual suitability of the chosen packaging can only be properly ascertained by performing your own preliminary tests.
