All here pictured tin containers and canistesr are metal - made out of tinplate ( tinned sheet steel). All pictured tin containers are dangerous goods tested after UN. The tin canisters are usually used for filling with dilution and catalysts or for laquers and colours as well as scumbles. But the tinplate canisters can also filled with thin fluid , waterless groceries  like cooking oil or syrup. In the event of prolonged contact with water or hydrous charges the canister will corrode.
