The metal buckets are mostly available with and without a dangerous goods test. Metal pails, with dangerous goods registration to UN and RID/ADR, will delivered with a clamping ring and a splitted pin . Because of the recloseable clamping ring the lid will be strong connected with the pail. All pails are made out of tinplate (tinned steel sheet). You can also fill try groceries in the metal pail. In the event of prolonged contact with water or hydrous charges the tinplate pails will corrode.
